Every Saturday or Sunday, from 9 AM to 4 PM, our team of volunteers gathers at The Mai’s Home in Binh Duong, Vietnam — a loving shelter for children who come from difficult backgrounds.

We begin the day with the morning circle in which we sing Christian songs and offering prayers of gratitude. These quiet moments create a sense of belonging and hope, reminding each child that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved.
From there, the day unfolds into a series of joyful and enriching activities. The children break into small groups: one group dives into English lessons, opening doors to future opportunities; another group patiently crochets, turning simple yarn into beautiful handmade pieces; in the kitchen, young hands learn to cook, guided by patient volunteers who share both skills and stories.
After a shared lunch, the afternoon is reserved for play — swimming or badminton, where laughter and cheers echo across the grounds. But beyond just fun, these moments build confidence, teach teamwork, and create memories the children carry in their hearts long after the day ends.
👉 Why does this work matter?
Because every child deserves to dream, to learn, and to play. At The Mai’s Home, we don’t just fill their time — we invest in their future.
💛 Join us in this mission. Together, we can give these children not just a day of happiness, but a lifetime of hope.
