Ha is the third of four siblings. Her father, an illiterate construction worker, often turns to alcohol to cope with life’s hardships, while her mother sells lottery tickets on the streets to support the family. At the age of five, Ha and her two older sisters were brought to Mai’s Home for safety and care; their youngest sister joined a year later.

Quiet yet strong and honest, Ha expresses herself through the gentle art of crochet, which she deeply enjoys.
