Meet Pham Thi Truc Diem!
Diem is the second of four siblings. Her father, an illiterate construction worker, often turns to alcohol to cope with life’s hardships, while her mother sells lottery tickets on the streets to support the family. At the age of six, Diem and her two sisters were brought to Mai’s Home for safety and care; their youngest sister joined a year later.
Diem is a quiet girl. She loves doing crochet.
